Get to know the doc... a little

Hello, my name is Dr. Brett Moss. I am a chiropractor located in Inverness, FL and I own Moss Chiropractic of Inverness.

I wanted to tell you a little about myself and my office. I grew up in Kansas, moved to Florida in 1984 - Spring Hill. I graduated from F.W. Springstead High School in 1986. In 1987 I joined the United States Navy, where I became an AT (Avionics Technician) working on F-14B fighter aircraft in my squadron, VF-74 Bedevilers. I got out in 1992 and started back to school.

I went to Life University, School of Chiropractic, which at the time was the largest chiropractic college in the world. I graduated Cum Laude in 1998. It was in this time that I learned many basic techniques in chiropractic, but not everything I would need to survive in practice AND help as many people as I possibly can. I have studied many different chiropractic techniques and have had advanced training in nutrition, whiplash/auto injuries, extremity adjusting, light force adjusting, and animal adjusting. I guess I just want to know everything!

In 1999 I opened my original office, Moss Chiropractic Wellness Center in Ocala, FL where I practiced until 2010. I then moved back home and worked in my family's practice for the next 6 years. That brings us to 2016, when I opened my new clinic, Moss Chiropractic of Inverness - an amalgamation of my experience, what works, and cost effectiveness.

What do I love to do? Well, I love to fish with my honey, Amie. She typically out fishes me but it's okay, she's sort of my 'secret weapon'. We nearly always come home with at least dinner (thanks to her!).

Why Inverness? I love this little town. It's beautiful, friendly and fun. From the beautiful bike trails and nature that Citrus County has, to the awesome Friday Night Thunder car show in town every 3rd Friday of the month. This town is just great.
